The Underdogs make some noise; Mid-Major sympathizers please go away!

As I, and 60 percent of this country rip our brackets in two and throw them in the garbage; I've also come to conclusion that all of these Mid-Major sympathizers need to just shut up. I've seen Robert Morris, Cornell, Northern Iowa, Ohio, Murray State, Butler, Gonzaga, and St. Mary's bring bracketeers trembling with fear.

This brings to question...Should the tournament really be expanded??? Do we want to water down one of the most exciting events in sports with below average mid-majors and major conference rejects with below .500 conference records??? I don't.

P.S. Ban Conference USA teams until they learn to play the game of Basketball...efficiently.

Notice how many teams I named earlier??? I'm not upset they busted my bracket and made my blood pressure sky rocket in twenty minute spurts. They earned their way into the tournament and capitalized.

P.S. Siena and San Diego St. did earn their way into the tournament and they're good teams. Purdue and Tennessee was just better.

I understand why the committee wants to expand the field, and I can't fault them. Can't be mad at anyone trying to make money (the right way). However, I make this plea to the committee, PLEASE DON'T!

I don't want to see this years UConn, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, or any middle of the field Mid-Major. There's a reason the conference tournaments mean something to them. It's their chance to get in as a darkhorse and solidify their seeding.

I don't want to hear that Mid-Majors don't get enough chances because they do. We've seen it in action this weekend.

Also, I don't want to hear complaining about a Mid-Major's seeding. Did it bother Robert Morris, Cornell or Ohio??? From the way I saw them play in the first round, I don't think it did.

To all of you Mid-Major sympathizers, just go away! They don't need your help and they don't need you lobbying for them. Playing for a championship is a privilege, not a right. Playing 30 games and a conference tournament is a right for a Div I basketball team, playing in a tournament for the championship is a privilege. I only want the cream of the crop, not the dried up kernels.
